We were up early and on the road at 5:20 AM with a big
bright full moon in the clear sky.
Traffic was light and moving right along until we got close to
Boston. We traveled through MA, NH, and
ME and stopped at the Maine Visitor Center for a picnic lunch. After a 45 minute break we headed north and
decided to take a side trip off 95 to Ogunquit to take a walk along the ocean on
the Marginal Way. Oh my goodness! Was that ever a busy place! No parking available anywhere (even the $12
lot was full) so we headed back to 95N and journeyed on to Bangor where we are
spending the night.
