Today was a day of travel.
It was also our first day of rain. It has been very dry here like the rest of the
northeast so I’m sure the rain is welcomed by the locals.
We drove RT 2 and the Trans Canada Highway along the
northern shore of the Bay of Fundy to its eastern most point near Truro. From Truro we headed south on highway 102 to
Halifax. From Halifax we traveled south,
then east along the Atlantic south shore of Nova Scotia to Chester and then
Mahone Bay.
It was raining rather hard the entire trip so we did not
make any stops along the way. Hopefully
we can catch some of these sights when we visit Halifax later in the week.
Mahone Bay will be our “home base” for the next 5 nights. No pictures today. Weather permitting we’ll have some tomorrow.
